Dr Sarah Abdul Mubarak

Speaker's Biography

Dr Sarah Mubarak is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with Subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine. She is the Unit Head for the Assisted Reproductive Technology Unit at Hospital Tunku Azizah, Women and Children Hospital, Kuala Lumpur. Dr Sarah completed her Fellowship Training in Reproductive Medicine in February 2019 from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore and Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Dr Sarah’s Post-Graduate Qualification includes MRCOG from United Kingdom in 2010 and Masters of Obstetrics and Gynecology (MOG) from University of Malaya in 2007. Dr Sarah has a keen interest in research and has published several research articles in international journals. She is committed to teaching and serves as an adjunct lecturer at Perdana University. Dr Sarah has also contributed and reviewed national guidelines on Reproductive Sexual Health, Contraception and Social Education for Malaysia. She is a board member in the National Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee for Malaysia and represents Ministry of Health in the development of Onco Fertility services for Malaysia.
Her passion is to develop laparoscopy surgery for endometriosis related infertility, onco- fertility services and improve the quality of care for reproductive health for Malaysia.
