Speaker's Biography
Dr. Eeson graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1995. He then trained locally and in the UK. He obtained the MRCOG in 2001. He was appointed a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at St George’s Hospital, London in 2001. His training there included fertility, recurrent miscarriages, reproductive endocrinology and menopause. Upon returning, he was specialist in Taiping and later Melaka. In late 2005, he was appointed the Founding Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a newly opened Hospital Ampang where he remained until 2009. He then resumed his sub-speciality training in reproductive medicine. He was later appointed as Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. In 2011, he returned to Malaysia and was appointed a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He then went into private practice. He was elevated to Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2014. Dr Eeson is fully accredited by the Ministry of Health as a subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and is on the National Specialist Register (NSR). He is the author of the book ‘Overcoming Infertility’ published by MPH. He is a past President of OGSM. He is currently Consultant Gynaecologist, Fertility Specialist and Director at Sunfert International Fertility Centre at Nexus Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
